Persistence and Spacetime

Dr. Yuri Balashov of the UGA Philosophy Department will be giving a special lecture on Persistence in Spacetime. Dr. Balashov’s area of specialty is in the connection between Physics and Metaphysics. In his recently published book Persistence and Spacetime he explores how to move from a relativistic physics to a four-dimensionalist metaphysics of persisting objects.

At 7 P.M

Room 205s Peabody Hall

This event is organized by Phi Sigma Tau, The Philosophy Honors Society, in order to promote a more active dialogue between Professors and Students and to help facilitate a greater appreciation for the scholarship that UGA professors are contributing to the philosophic community.
